Refund Policy
When and how refunds work.

Failed generations are refunded automatically
This is the most common case, and you do not need to ask. If a generation fails or times out, the credits reserved for it are returned to your account automatically. You will see this in your credit history.
Credits
- Credits are added to your account when you buy them or when your subscription renews.
- Unused credits stay in your account and do not expire while your account is active.
- Credits are not refundable for cash once purchased, except where the law requires it.
- Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred to another account.
Subscriptions
- Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel at any time from your account.
- Cancelling stops future renewals. It does not refund the current billing period.
- After cancelling, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Your right to cancel — EU, UK and similar jurisdictions
If you are a consumer in the EU, UK, or a jurisdiction with similar rules, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital services.
However, by asking us to start generating immediately — that is, by spending credits during that period — you acknowledge that the service has begun, and you lose the right of withdrawal for the credits you have used. Unused credits remain refundable within the 14-day window.
To withdraw, contact support@photothaw.com within 14 days of purchase.
Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first — we can almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Accounts with unresolved chargebacks may be suspended.
How to request a refund
Email support@photothaw.com from the address on your account, with your order reference and what went wrong. We aim to reply within two business days.
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. Banks typically take 5–10 business days to show the credit.
